Job Description

Senior Security Engineer provides and introduce high-level operational security rules, processes and plans in the task area. Holder of the position defines, executes and understand the latest developments in the field of Security & Cloud. We strive enthusiasm for Cloud technology and take on the challenges created by the development and operation of a hyper-scale Public Cloud (Open Telekom Cloud).

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Developing, providing, and introducing high-level operational security rules, processes, and plans in the task area
• Respond to and prevent cyberattacks, security breaches and data breaches. Furthermore you perform independently penetration tests for our services and features.
• Preventively perform penetration tests and actively combat attacks.
• and devising optimization measures, including initiating and implementing measures
• Analyze and mitigate data and cyber risks.
• Functionally preparing, agreeing on, and updating complex service agreements and contracts with partners and customers in the task area
• Providing last-level technical support for security management systems across different technologies in the task area
• Advising and supporting managers and employees on security topics

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training.
• have 2-5 years of professional experience in IT ideally with Cloud Security and/or penetration testing.
• have hands-on experience with penetration testing and averted attacks.
• have strong experience in Linux and network related services.
• have some of Relevant Certification in IT security (such as OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSP, CISSP, etc.)
• have fluency in written and spoken English, because you will be working in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements.
• are good working independently as well as part of international team

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2500€ /brutto.
