Job Description

The main purpose of this job is senior technical expert responsibility for design and implementation of an assigned technology.

The HUB „Cyber Defense & Internal Security" owns end-to-end responsibility for full IT support for Internal Security & Cyber Defense within Deutsche Telekom Group. All process steps for risk minimization of company losses through security-relevant attacks are supported. The aim is to protect business property (buildings, networks, etc.), of our corporate assets (Fraud), customers and employees (Fraud, Cyber Defense, Group Situation Center).

In our vision, we provide stable and user-friendly system solutions in the shortest possible time to market, which give all national and international Group units the opportunity to implement the Deutsche Telekom Group's security policy. The security system solutions are provided centrally for all Group units as well as for external customers.
The IT systems are designed to identify, manage and prevent security incidents and to meet the privacy, security and risk requirements of the Group and external customers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a system architect, you are responsible for the conceptual development of IT systems. This includes leveraging synergies in data usage and driving forward the cloudification of applications. You will prepare and support architectural concepts and PoCs. Currently developed applications (Java/Kotlin, Spring, vue.js, AWS), will request your consultancy on software design and implementation of architectural guidelines. Fostering the retirement of legacy applications, you will align with stakeholders on functional and data mapping to allow content migration.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have experience of modern engineering and current architectural principles (cloud agnostic, event driven architecture, domain driven architecture)

• have experience in interpretation of architectural guardrails and implementation into specific system concepts

• have experience in big data systems: Cloudera Hadoop, Spark, Flink

• have led retirement and transformation of IT systems encompassing from infrastructure to application layer: mapping of current system functionality and data structures onto those of target landscapes and applications

optionally:

• have experience with architecture projects based on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and AWS (Amazon Web Services) services

• have experience with TARDIS architecture (Telekom-owned framework) for decoupling and integration of data sources (https://github.com/telekom/Open-Telekom-Integration-Platform, https://developer.telekom.de/)

• have experience with Artificial intelligence / machine learning basics with focus on anomaly detection

• experience in agile contexts and mythologies (Kanban, SAFe, …)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will vary and will not be lower than 2050€ /brutto.
