Focus, Scope, & Impact:

  • Ensures business results, growth, alignment with regional operating unit (OU) and local bottling partner (Bottler).
  • Leads the growth agenda with Bottler’s operations, aligned with the OU strategy. Manages new opportunity mapping, strategic, operational, and commercial projects involving the Bottler.
  • Works closely with franchise team, cross function teams and bottler on key SIMA strategic priorities and initiatives to drive a sustainable business across our key pillars
  • Responsible for orchestrating Coca-Cola’s network initiatives and securing bottling partners’ alignment and flawless execution. 
  • An agent of change, the Senior Manager will be a key player in continuing to build our system capabilities, operational effectiveness and collaboration.

Detailed scope.

  • Responsible for achieving business growth in Coca-Cola and Bottler, by shaping and implementing core capabilities and managing franchise leadership within Complete Portfolio, multi channels and the wider system. 
  • Leads the implementation of The Coca-Cola Company’s vision, with strong connections internally and externally, able to identify business opportunities and translate them into concrete actions with an agile and effective decision making.
  • Manages and articulates the day-to-day operations of the franchise; working very close with the Frontline teams. Co-Leads localization of plans; monitors evolution of key indicators to achieve business plan objectives (e.g. share, transaction, Revenues, volume); leads communication flow between Bottler and Coca-Cola concerning priorities, programs, address market issues and performance; executes strategies with bottler & 3rd partners; cooperates with bottler to ensure local relevance and alignment with overall business; reviews and implements revenue growth opportunities/solutions.
  • Manages projects and leads the RTM, RGM, execution and commercialization from concept to launch; establishing business systems and procedures and KPIs
  • Look at ways to build resilience across our business through areas such as portfolio, commercial, technical etc
  • Develops processes and systems to increase sales effectiveness and maximize resource allocation. For example: design a segmentation model to leverage and develop operational capabilities to address local opportunities based on customized needs 
  • Regarding new products this position has two main responsibilities: identify market insights, risks and opportunities and communicate them timely and effectively to the frontline team from marketing, commercial strategy and innovation functions to be considered as input for current innovation processes. 
  • Wire with their peers to ensure best practice sharing and alignment across the territory.

Experience required

  • +5 years within the Coca-Cola system or FMCG industry in a franchise model or equivalent; where leading through influence play a key role.   the Industry. Desired: Bottler Marketing and Commercial experience. Recommended: Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy Experience and Understanding of retail (Horeca, Modern, Traditional Channel), Route to Market and Revenue Growth Management

  • Lead Governance Model between Coca-Cola and Bottlers.
  • Guides and collaborates with bottler in the decision-making process involved in key areas such as route-to-market (RTM), point-of-sale (POS), total portfolio and other commercial initiatives.
  • Acts with a high level of autonomy so decision making must be sound and mindful
  • Continuous finding of new ways to identify regional market opportunities, generating value across the system in alignment with the OU strategic priorities
