Senior Manager, Global Cross-Functional Communications

As Senior Manager, Cross-Functional Communications, you will lead a team and partner with stakeholders to drive the communications strategy development and program implementation for Expedia Group’s tentpole communication moments that touch multiple brands, including Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo, and feature multiple communications channels.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented, a natural collaborator and driven to produce strategic, innovative and efficient communications programs. You will work closely with our global team of experts to craft and coordinate integrated communications strategies and campaign plans for some of the company’s most visible integrated campaigns.
This position will be based in Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, or London and report to the Senior Director of Cross-Functional Communications & Operations.
In this role, you will:

Lead communications strategy and campaign development for x-brand global initiatives; identifying and executing high-impact projects

Act as an inspiring and motivated leader who excels at empowering and motivating their team to deliver outstanding results

Act as subject matter expert for Global Communications team on key products and initiatives, including loyalty and product

Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to build relationships and deliver results
-
Work with the Global Communications leadership team and stakeholders across the Marketing organization to provide strategic communications counsel

Craft and ensure high-quality delivery of communications assets and materials
Experience and qualifications:

8+ years’ communications experience. Experience working with a well-established company/brand, and global experience, is highly preferred

Integrated comms experience across PR, Social and Influencer and a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns

Experience working closely with senior leadership as a trusted advisor

Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis

Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $155,000 USD to $217,000 USD. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000 USD, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
