Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
Learning is essential to everything we do. As a Sr Learning Partner, you will collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, and learning teams to influence learning solutions that support short and long-term business goals and objectives. You are responsible for the analysis, evaluation, and execution of learning strategies as it relates to programs and business goals. You will foster strong relationships with business partners and learning teams across multiple functions. This position may manage learning and training professionals.What Will You Do?
- Conduct learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources and propose learning tools, resources, and methodologies to deliver optimal solutions based on business needs.
- Gather and synthesize information to identify recommendations, gain stakeholder support, recommend, and influence solutions.
- Develop objective statements, understand personas, intended outcomes, processes and systems, and measurements for supported line of business, program, or function.
- Manage consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency across Travelers.
- Support, influence, curriculum development which may include planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives. Monitor, evaluate, analyze, and report on effectiveness of learning solutions.
- Lead planning and execution of projects and resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Negotiate and maintain vendor contracts and relationships.
- Apply structured methodologies and lead change management activities.
- Act as a mentor and/or coach to team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Six years of experience in respective business operation or other learning and development environment.
- Demonstrated experience with writing and developing learning resources.
- Awareness of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies with the ability to identify and implement those technologies.
- Broad knowledge of the business/personal insurance industry, product lines and general understanding of enterprise processes, applications, and systems.
- Experience managing a portfolio of projects.
- Experience coaching, developing, and influencing others.
What is a Must Have?
- Four years’ experience in a learning and development, training, design, or business-related field.
- Health Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.
- Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum. If you have student loan debt, you can enroll in the Paying it Forward Savings Program. When you make a payment toward your student loan, Travelers will make an annual contribution into your 401(k) account. You are also eligible for a Pension Plan that is 100% funded by Travelers.
