The Senior Human Resources Specialist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day functions of the Mexico Human Resources Department and supporting the Mexico City and Monterrey offices, and Site Supervision team located throughout Mexico, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, partnering with the Human Resources Manager and/or Human Resources Intern with implementation and administration of the following Human Resources areas:  compliance, policies, procedures, benefits, employee relations, legal compliance, training, payroll, workplace culture, and health and safety programs.

Your Role

• Provide excellent customer service to all team members for all Mexico offices by responding to queries related to human resources and payroll. 
• Process Mexico semi-monthly payroll, annual performance reviews, personnel action notices, digital timesheets, and review pay slips, etc.   
• Coordinate new hire processes, including offer letters, notification of offer letter acceptance, contracts, onboarding, etc.
• Ensure all team member records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.      
• Ensure final checks are created in the Mexico HRIS system for separating team members. 
• Process discrepancies for insurance carrier benefits.   
• Partner with Human Resources Manager – Mexico to facilitate company safety training compliance.
• Administer leaves of absences. 
• Coordinate employee relations and accommodations with leaders. 
• Meet regularly with Mexico leaders to provide updates, coaching, etc.  
• Coordinate involuntary separations. 
• Support specialized Mexico Human Resources-related projects as assigned.
