Senior Executive, Accounting Operations

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Executive, Accounting Operations to support with daily financial transactions, reconcile monthly, quarterly and yearly reports in our finance team.

What are we expecting from this role?

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of relevant listings related to insurance operations such as finanacial transactions

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely submission of financial statements

• Daily reconcile policyholder refunds and claims for all bank accounts

• Process policyholder payments, ensuring all documentation from the operations team is accurate and complete within specified turnaround time

• Support cash management and adhere to timelines to leverage investment opportunities

• Maintain relationships with banking personnel and ensure the company's legal information is accurately and regularly updated in the banks

• Support daily accounting operations and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain effective control, following compliance policies and SOPs for claims, premiums, and accounting

• Ensure timely updates of daily banking balances and monthly investment reporting list to group treasury team

• Support opening new corporate bank accounts and credit cards, resolving banking issues from users, and promptly updating internet banking users and signatories

• Ensure all JVs/Listings/Banking documents are updated monthly in the shared folder for audit trail and internal retention

• Support external and internal auditors during their fieldwork

• Perform other assigned tasks as directed by the Line Manager

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• at least 3 years of relevant experience in financial operations, insurance, corperate banking and treasury management

• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments & financial records and data analysis skills

• Good knowledge of Accounting system, preferably proven experience of SunSystem

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and email, is required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Khmer

• Great interpersonal and professional communication skills

• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
