We are currently seeking a Senior Energy Efficiency Project Manager to join our Energy Efficiency Programs Department.  As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for North American Program Administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency.  This unique market opportunity, paired with Energy Solutions’ mission driven approach, creates a perfect environment for an individual who wants to have an active voice in shaping the nation’s energy future.


Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of program deliverables 
  • Facilitating the progress of a new program launch and manage a portfolio of projects 
  • Communicating program progress to management, clients and external stakeholders 
  • Interacting with customers, clients, and external collaborators 
  • Developing and managing multiple complex project budgets and tasks with minimal oversight 
  • Conducting market research and data analysis 
  • Tracking of industry trends and other market changes that impact energy efficiency 
  • Leading proposal content development efforts 
  • Organizing and facilitating in-person meetings, conference calls, and facilitated collaboration sessions 
  • Conducting program stakeholder meetings, capture escalations, and proactively resolve potential issues 


Minimum qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 8 years of related work experience 
  • A technical bachelor's degree with an energy-related discipline preferred 
  • A minimum of 5 years project management experience   
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct large collaborative facilitated sessions  
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills  
  • Demonstrated outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management and mitigation  
  • Strong technical writing, data analysis, verbal communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to manage tactical and strategic tasks 
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and to serve as the primary point of client contact for some projects  
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office (Office365, SharePoint, OneNote)  
  • Willingness to conduct business travel  


Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of midstream programs
  • Knowledge of HVAC and/or Foodservice equipment 


Compensation to commensurate with experience with the pay band of  $92K - $125K/Annually 

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
