ABOUT THE TEAM

The Global Nielsen Media Client Service & Sales team wants to empower you to help our clients go from insights to action faster. We want to help you perfect the art of data-driven customer service that drives clients’ investment in Nielsen. You can now work on activities that are driving client impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships in the broadcasting sector
  • Serve as the key day to day point of contact for major broadcasting accounts
  • Proactively engage with key broadcasting stakeholders on commercial initiatives
  • Support commercial leads in achieving revenue targets for the commercial broadcasters and related broadcast entities
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analyses
  • Assist Nielsen Operations with analyses of data to support the role out of key strategic projects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams like Operations, Data Science, Finance and Legal, to align on business opportunities and needs, as the voice of the broadcasters
  • Stay updated on technological advancements in broadcasting and explore their potential applications
  • A working understanding of all Nielsen Media products and solutions, particularly TV measurement and Consumer & Media Index

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial broadcasting, media sales, or related areas
  • Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships
  • Strong understanding of the NZ broadcasting industry and current market trends
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, data analytics platforms)
  • Experience with analyses in Television Audience Measurement data
  • Builds strong, trust-based client relationships
  • Ability to prioritise against multiple client demands
  • Seeks opportunities and supports company initiatives to grow revenue
  • Strong skills across MS Office and Google suite
  • Strong attention to detail
