The Procurement Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Toast’s procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with company objectives. This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving P2P workflows, metrics, and controls, while also supporting the broader procurement strategy.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial and data acumen, with administrative experience in tools such as ZipHQ, Navan, and NetSuite. They should be adept at analyzing data, generating actionable insights, and managing systems to drive efficiency and performance.
This high-impact position partners closely with department leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to advance the P2P roadmap, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure procurement operations consistently meet or exceed established standards and benchmarks.
About this roll*
- Manage a team of Procurement Specialists to manage all P2P-related conversations.
- Implementing best practices in purchasing policies; enhance procurement performance through technological improvements.
- Spearhead impactful change management initiatives within the procurement team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and scalability.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for procurement activities, including managing stakeholder inquiries, triaging requests, and coordinating approvals across the P2P lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate key metrics and performance indicators related to the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process; design dashboards and reporting tools to drive visibility and accountability.
- Support the execution and documentation of SOX and SOC control processes by coordinating audit responses and providing required evidence to internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a central point of coordination between Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Procurement Operations, and Strategic Sourcing to ensure seamless transaction flow across the P2P function; proactively resolve process bottlenecks and delays.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance across the P2P landscape; adopt an ownership mindset to support the evolving needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with department leadership to advance the P2P roadmap, contributing to strategic initiatives, special projects, and procurement systems enhancements.
Do you have the right ingredients*?
- 7+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, and at least two years in a leadership role. Proven experience in developing category strategies, change management required.
- Extensive Netsuite, Navan and ZipHQ or similar systems customization experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or related fields
- Travel & Expense area experience a plus
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office / Google Suite

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
Pay Range
$108,000—$173,000 USD
