Individuals in this role should have strong financial and data acumen and be comfortable generating reports, working with systems (ZipHQ, Navan, and Netsuite), and analyzing data to perform job duties. This impactful role will work with department leadership and stakeholders to support P2P’s roadmap and ensure P2P scope remains at or above specific standards or benchmarks.


About this roll*  (Responsibilities) 

  • Generate and socialize metrics regarding Procure-to-Pay activities and performance, including creating dashboards or other metrics reporting processes.
  • Support maintenance and facilitation of Toast’s SOX and SOC control processes. This includes providing relevant evidence and other requests for audits.
  • Monitor Toast’s vendor master and ensure all vendor records are complete, align with Toast’s strategic category management requirements, and are in compliance with Toast’s Vendor Management policy.
  • Support in daily procurement operations as needed, this includes supporting stakeholder inquiries and  managing various types of requests/approvals across the P2P cycle. 
  • Act as a bridge between Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Procurement Operations and Strategic Procurement functions to ensure that transactions flow seamlessly throughout the Procure-to-Pay process; take ownership of following up on any delays across the P2P function.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvements and process efficiencies; have an ownership mindset to enable the P2P function to grow with the organization. 
  • Assist department leadership is delivering against the P2P function’s roadmap of improvements. This includes engaging in special projects and supporting systems changes.


Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • At least 5 years of experience with Finance, Accounting or Procure-to-Pay functions. Other relevant backgrounds will be considered. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to independently generate reporting from various systems.
  • Strong communicator with an ability to maintain business relationships.
  • Understanding of SOX and SOC controls
  • High degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Netsuite, Navan and ZipHQ preferred.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

Pay Range

$81,000$130,000 USD
