The Role:
As a Senior Analyst in the Supply Chain team within Customer Care & Aftersales, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our network processes. Your primary role will be to analyze and optimize our supply chain processes to ensure efficient and effective fulfillment of automotive parts and accessories. This will entail establishing new relationships and supply chain paths.
You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.
  • Owns the development and delivery of solutions, driving cross team and group efforts. Leads by example, taking responsibility for their own actions, acknowledging mistakes, and holding themselves accountable for achieving goals.
  • Addresses and evaluates a diverse range of issues using innovative methods and proposing alternative approaches.
  • Position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers
  • Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers
  • Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
  • Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with subject matter and often require persuasion.
  • Uses data and analysis to demonstrate the value of a project, anticipating, and addressing objections and or concerns.
  • Assess supplier schedules and impact
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
  • Handle very complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
  • Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution.
  • Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
  • Ability to travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.
  • Ability to problem tackle complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain logistics, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, warehousing) to coordinate and streamline supply chain operations.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to recommend improvements.
  • Lead projects related to supply chain optimization and present findings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and standards.
  • Utilize advanced supply chain software and tools for data analysis and reporting.


Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Ability to travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.
  • Experience using statistical analysis, analytical tools, and visualization software such as SQL, Access, and Power-BI.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


What Will Give You a Competitive Edge ( Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience working in Mainframe applications is preferred
  • Experience in distribution center operations is preferred
  • Experience working in Automotive or similar field preferred
