The Opportunity
Responsible for managing and enhancing sales activities of product/solution portfolio for domestic markets and for thorough review and assessment of client requirements and timely preparation of proposals in compliance to Hitachi processes. May have direct ownership of some single-product clients, especially smaller non-named accounts. Understands how the product/ solution fits within the broader company portfolio, solution, or customer environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Achieving sales figures for product/solution portfolio and projects in domestic market.
- Meeting agreed annual sales target and supporting distributor for original equipment manufacturer market.
- Providing the clients with informative and precise presentation of the product/solution portfolio and organization.
- Executing quotes and contracts.
- Analyze technical and commercial requirements and define products / applications to be used for bid opportunities.
- Prepares proposals defining technical, commercial conditions, pricing and other terms, conditions, and time limitation in line with the sales process.
- Engage internal suppliers (Factories) and liaises with Logistics, Supply Chain and Market Managers for smooth process flow and offering competitive proposals.
- Ensures to comply with all the internal processes and requirements like legal and Integrity, HSE, Salesforce, and Risk Review etc.
- Maintains relevant backup documents for all bids and proposals.
- Responsible for the projects from bid preparation to transfer into the operational business (Q2C Team).
- Handle technical and commercial strategic negotiations with assigned customers.
- Planning and frequent follow up on offers – including accurately maintenance of data in Salesforce.
- In charge when it comes to costs and results for assigned customers as well as detailed presentations.
- To act as a link between the factories and the customer to resolve any technical requests.
- To follow with the customer and the factory to ensure customer satisfaction regarding on time delivery and after sales support.
- Prepare a monthly report of submitted proposals with percentage of winning and expected time from Salesforce data.
- Collect information about all open opportunities and ask the advice of the Sales manager for the proper policy.
- Coordination with other departments to ensure the quality and the well-timed offers.
- To monitor the strategy of our competitors and perform the related SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis from proposal point of view.
- To analyze the won and lost projects to learn lessons this will be the base for future similar proposals.
- Meetings at least monthly with the Sales manager.
- Where required, help outside the assigned segment as requested by management.
- Understanding Front End Sales strategic direction and articulate it in a clear manner to different levels of Customers.
- Prepare the order documents for registration.
Your Background
- Electrical Engineering University Diploma
- Knowledge of Hitachi’s complete energy product/solution Portfolio.
- Knowledge of standards and specifications for electrical equipment and systems applied to electrical substations and industry.
- Design, testing, and application concepts of the complete energy product/solution Portfolio.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in: Negotiation based on experience and technical applications, analysis of international standards applied to power systems and products, strong interpersonal skills in technical and commercial environments, market, competency, portfolio analysis, and full cost analysis, including internationalization in international markets if required.
- Preparation of offer for bidding in the public and private sector.
- Advanced English Level
