The Sales Executive will identify, develop and grow new customers, whilst also further penetrating existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect for new business opportunities.
- Be a reliable point of contact for customer requests.
- Build and develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Frequently visit existing and new customers.
- Monitor customer use of credit line and credit exposure.
- Handle and resolve claims.
Job Requirements:
- Positive and diligent work ethic.
- Pays great attention to detail and is organised in their approach to a dynamic, fast paced position.
- Ability to communicate with people in senior and junior roles, and from differing backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English language.
Experience:
- Shipping experience, in bunkering, operations, chartering, agency would be preferred but not essential;
- A shipping/business degree would be preferred but not essential.
- University degree preferred but not essential
This role will be based in Koege, Denmark working from the office 3 days a week and remote for 2 days. Some European travel should be expected.
