Responsibilities
- Quality engineer is responsible for overall quality management of LRC (Local Repair Center) such as quality control, quality assurance and quality system.
- Conduct the routine audits on production to ensure all the quality specifications are met during the part repair
- Responsible for handling quality control and management such as Incoming inspection , outgoing inspection(final inspection), external complaint (Dead on Arrival, DoA) and non conformance management are strongly required in order to achieve Zero DoA ambition.
- Lead the team for root cause analysis of defect parts and report the progress to the stakeholders in a timely manner
- Improving knowledge and awareness of quality management with LRC team members and support a training for team members
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills for a successful process deployment(balance timeline, resource and quality)
- Raise the level of quality by applying continuous improvement tools and concepts(Lean, six sigma) including gamba work.
- Develop and maintain documented procedures & work instructions for quality control based on ISO 9001 requirements and customer specific requirements (if applicable)
- Ensure robust implementation of a new process and put in place for stable operation
- Analyzes quality-related data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Uses basic statistical methods and tools to interpret data and generate insights for quality enhancement.
- Promotes and manages the adoption & adherence of quality procedures and standards.
- Maintains detailed records of quality control procedures, audits, and corrective actions
- Prepares clear and concise reports on quality metrics and presents findings to team members.
Education and Experiences
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, (Applied) Physics or comparable.
- Experience : 10+ years of experience of quality engineer
- Quality skills : Statistical tools(QC tools), 8D, 6 Sigma, FMEA, SPC, Lean is preferred.
- Communicate effectively and listen actively with colleagues or stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
- English fluency that speaks English on a frequent basis
- Experience in Semiconduction Industry
- Experience in QMS (ISO9001 or IATF 16949) or product/process risk management is preferred
- High level of MS Office skill is preferred
- Pro-active and a strong drive for results
- Influencing without power(able to motivate, drive and convince others without formal authority but with trust and expertise)
