Introduction to the job

We are looking for a highly motivated technical individual to support imaging fab product. ASML Brion provides solutions of computational lithography, which are classified as two categories : PWE(Process Window Enhancement) and PWC(Process Window Control). This position will be in PWC (Process Window Control) organization. A field apps engineer is responsible for feasibility study of advanced imaging fab product, defining use cases with feature proof data, describing new feature requirements, and initiating new customer engagements. The team works closely with product developers and customers.

Role and responsibilities

  • With robust solutions(recipe development, parameter optimization), help customer to use Brion PWC products and SMO without any problems.
  • By introducing new products and features to customer, drive up customer to adopt Brion PWC products as a baseline solution.
  • By in-depth investigation into product features, find bugs and propose new features to enhance product performance.
  • By technical communication with customer and Brion US headquarter, find the best solution to support customer. 

Education and experience

  • Technical University graduate or above(MS/Ph.D) in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science.
  • Bachelor degree with 5-12 years of experience in fab or equivalent. Preferably in photo lithography or process integration.
  • Experience in lithography, optics, photonics or related fields.
  • Direct or indirect experience in OPC (Optical Proximity Correction), including rigorous lithography simulation (Hyperlith, Prolith, S-Litho), RET, and advanced mask technology.

Skills

- Experience in project management skill

- Strong knowledge in photo lithography, optics, aberration.

- Experience in design layout data handling.

- Scanner hardware/software experience is preferred, especially for imaging.

- Familiarity with computing skills (Windows, UNIX, Linux).

- Experience in numerical analysis with MATLAB or Excel.

- Good written and oral communication skills in English, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team.

- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

- Quick learning and flexibility

Other information

-  Position can be located at Hwaseong office in Korea

- Occasionally required to move around the campus.

- May require travel domestic and/or international dependent on business needs – less than 10%

    This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
