Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales directly related to Zeeco's Power Business. The primary responsibility is to identify sales opportunities for Power Plants, Refineries, Chemical, Pulp and Paper, and wherever Zeeco's wide range of offerings and options would be beneficial. This role will require site visits and travel in the assigned territory as well creating, building, and maintaining relationships with industry personnel. This position will work closely with Power Management, Power Sales, other Sales Personnel, and Zeeco's service group.


Essential Functions:

- Operate within the assigned territories, calling on existing and potential customers.

- Develop personal relationships with key decision makers within the territory.

- Actively seek out Power-Aftermarket opportunities, develop new relationships, leads, and industry potential.

- Attend internal meetings, supplying updates on customer base, sales, and sales potential.

- Handle light Project Engineering tasks, as dictated by the nature of the higher spec Aftermarket Business.

This may include:

- Working with 3rd party manufacturing and vendors, as needed.

- Outlining/identifying existing design to retrofit others' equipment as needed.

- Gathering pertinent information for proper fitment, sizing, voltage, amperage, etc.

- Assists in providing product advice and contacts within Zeeco to assist clients' needs.

- Participate in negotiations and quotes as needed.

- This role will require coordinating and attending meetings, trades shows, and entertainment activities with clients and coworkers. 


Qualifications:

- Experience in one or more of the following: steam generation, combustion, power-generation, boiler operation and maintenance, boiler sales, or services related to combustion products. Industry experience can be from any number of industries. Concession on experience in industry may be taken for the appropriate candidate(s)

- Interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate contracts, work with customers, make cold calls as needed, and the ability to speak confidently.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information.

- Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others are needed for this position

- Self-driven, strong organization, and self-functioning skills including the ability to work with little direction and oversight

- Focused and goal oriented
