Job Description
We are looking for a professional and energetic Part-Time Receptionist who will be working in an office setting with direct interaction with visitors, employees, and delivery personnel creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
This role is ideal for someone seeking a flexible work schedule while gaining valuable experience in customer service and administration.
Key responsibilities:
General tasks:
- Greet visitors warmly and assist them upon arrival.
- Open the door and ensure all guests are properly registered.
- Inform colleagues when they have visitors and provide visitor badges.
- Escort visitors to the showroom.
- Welcome truck drivers and guide them to the appropriate warehouse personnel.
Administrative tasks:
- Handle general administrative tasks, such as managing mail, and scheduling appointments.
- Receive parcels and carry them to the designated storage area
- Order and manage office supplies to ensure availability.
- Check and distribute incoming post.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Extra responsibilities:
- Remove clean dishes from the dishwasher and organize them in cabinets.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Working Schedule: This position is for weekdays only. Your shifts will depend on how many hours you work per week, starting time regardless is 8:00 am.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Proficiency in Dutch is a plus)
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email handling, etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor. (Experience in customer service is a plus)
- Ability to lift and carry parcels if needed. (This task requires the ability to lift light packages occasionally.)
