What will you do?

  • 10-16 Years of IT experience
  • Innovate, Ideate, and build a strong engineering mindset culture, working on engineering opportunities to accelerate QE efficiency.
  • Identify and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to streamline quality engineering processes, increase efficiency, and reduce manual effort. - Spearhead the adoption of test automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices to enhance the QE’s agility and responsiveness.
  • Explore and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance the platform's capabilities and drive innovation
  • Develop and contribute to the strategic vision for the quality engineering platform, aligning it with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize key initiatives to enhance the platform's capabilities, performance, resiliency and scalability
  • Develop a strong relationship with global teams to be able to roll out the Quality Engineering tools and frameworks (Automation frameworks, Test Data Management, DevOps etc. ) and participate in adoption and scaling
  • Collaborate with QE practice delivery & other teams to ensure the quality engineering platform supports the organization's evolving needs.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse platform metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Leverage SLGS position as Microcosm of SLF and establish a bridge between multiple Business units including Asia
  • Role Definition:
    • I innovate, develop, enhance, elevate, support, deploy and/or test basic technology solutions at appropriate levels
    • I apply engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables.
    • I understand the software requirements and ensure its translated into good quality production - ready code basis provided design & instructions.
    • I understand the defined scope and timelines and deliver quality deliverable within the estimated time..

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • QE engineering skills including Test Automation Framework Development, Developing /Supporting testing use cases using GenAI, AI/ML to increase efficiency
  • Modern Engineering Principles (CI/CD, Component, Contract, Integration test level suites)
  • Programming Languages (Java, Python, Terraform etc.)
  • Test Management Tools (JIRA, qTest, etc.)
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Performance Testing, Chaos Engineering
  • Security Testing (Nice to Have)
  • Mobile Testing (Nice to Have)
  • Web Services Testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Cloud Testing (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Agile and Scrum Methodologies
  • Test Data Management
  • Test Environment Management
