SUMMARY

The Quality Analyst plays a vital role in the Quality Assurance department, collaborating closely with cross functional management and other team members.  Their primary responsibility is to support quality control processes by verifying and validating product before it ships from external suppliers.  This role involves working closely with leadership, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.  The Quality Analyst will assist in supplier quality development and analyzing overall supplier conformance and performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Navigate and sort purchase orders based on quality risk criteria.
  • Maintain communication with QA management on critical or high risk products.
  • Communicate schedules and quality concerns with suppliers and help to maintain business relationships.
  • Schedule on-site quality audits and monitor product checklists with suppliers utilizing 3rd-party resources.
  • Assemble special specification documents for 3rd-party auditors.
  • Analyze audit reports and determine product statuses for shipment.
  • Document and communicate critical issues with suppliers and provide production materials and instructions if necessary.
  • Facilitate corrective action reports (CARs) with QA management if needed.
  • Perform and document quality inspections on HexArmor products and raw components.
  • Assist in maintaining and/or creating documents to help with data management.
  • Travel to supplier factories as required to observe and document production/quality processes, and help to maintain business relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in professional setting
  • Proficiency in Excel
