Reporting to the Product Manager & Business Systems Analyst, the QA Analyst will serve as a vital member of the Wyse IT team. This role focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT applications and solutions that meet organizational standards. The QA Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining testing procedures and protocols to ensure all IT deliverables are reliable, scalable, and meet the defined business requirements. This individual demonstrates attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in software development and deployment.          

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IT applications.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track defects.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing across various systems and platforms.
  • Track and report testing metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts, to management.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and usability.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Document test results and create detailed defect reports to communicate findings to development teams.
  • Lead and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide end-user training as required.
  • Stay updated on QA tools, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years’ experience in a QA Analyst or similar role.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools such as, JIRA, and UIPath.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and supporting tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
