We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our growing Products & Technology team in Toronto. This team is passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions to serve over 600,000 members.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

Validate and review test coverage against business requirements / user stories / product backlog items
-
Contribute to the identification and escalation of gaps within the user stories and/or technical user stories documents that could impact testing
-
Analyze, understand, and implement Agile testing practices
-
Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.

Work collaboratively in an agile team with QA Engineers, QA Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Agile Leads
-
Assist the Agile team to refine User Story Acceptance Criteria, Definition of Ready and the Definition of Done

Ensure the appropriate testing tasks are identified and created during sprint planning
-
Execute test cases and document results in a test management tool

Configure and manage test data across all testing environments

In time, work with automated test scripts to identify issues, eventually contributing to the development of new scripts to reduce manual testing effort
To succeed in this role, you have:
-
Post-secondary education / accreditation in job related field or related experience
-
2-5 years of experience in overseeing the development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing
-
2- 5 years of experience with manual or automated testing frameworks in a variety of test frameworks, with a preference for JavaScript frameworks
-
Advanced knowledge of testing concepts and methodologies used in Agile contexts
-
Hands-on experience in Zephyr/JIRA applications
-
Knowledge and understanding SQL and database concepts will be an asset

Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
-
Aptitude to think out of the box and have good problem-solving skills

Good communication skills and ability to share and exchange ideas with your team members and management

Eagerness to constantly learn and update your skills in our cross-platform environment, and you like to share knowledge with others

PPAC/CEBS Certification or currently enrolled preferred
