What will your responsibilities be?

  • Lead the cross functional project team and coordinate communication and deliverables between and within functional areas (e.g. customers/sales/engineering product and process/manufacturing/quality/finance/purchasing) to define the platform requirements and targets on time, cost, quality, product performance and manufacturability. Prepares and drive decisions (internal and external).
  • Initiate project and ensure development of Business Plan, SOW, WBS, BOM, CAR and TA. Maintain and distribute updates as required by flow of the project.
  • Lead platform and program changes involving and coordinating the related customer programs and plants by using the product change management process.
  • Provides on-site support to the plant team throughout the pre-production builds and focuses on MSO to ensure plant materials functions are ready
  • Continuously drive cost and quality improvement activities for all launched projects until EOP. Challenges team to overachieve cost targets!
  • Ensures that financial performance is protected or enhanced by scope changes driven by the customer.
  • Conduct Project and Gate Reviews on a regular basis, ensure participation by relevant sponsor and stakeholders, report summary project status on monthly basis and ensure project documentation in ProDash and team center (e.g. Project File, SOW, timeline, PLUS deliverables, drawings, BOM).
  • Adherence to BOS/ PLUS and SDT procedures, train and challenge the team in Adient processes, support implementation of BOS and ensure BOS compliance.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Willingness to travel
  • Open minded, likes to take over responsibility.
  • English fluent in speaking and writing
  • Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of related work experience or relevant education / degree.
  • Experience in Excel is required and working knowledge of the Parts Matrix.
  • Experience with MS Project, SAP, and Siemens Teamcenter PLM desired.
