Program Delivery Solutions (PDS) is an execution function within the Process Excellence Team, acting across the TBS organization at an enterprise-level. PDS is pivotal to the success and reputation of TBS globally, collaborating with TBS leadership and teams, business stakeholders, and external parties to drive excellence in program and project delivery as a key component of TBS value-realization, developing and driving the TBS strategy, vision, and TBS enterprise roadmaps, calibrating and optimizing the TBS footprint, and in the design and enablement of transformation activities from 'current state' to 'future state', including key system and process improvement implementations and upgrades, process harmonizations and enhancements, scope calibration and transition, and other key transformational projects.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The Program Delivery Solutions (PDS) Program Manager is responsible for ensuring delivery of measurable business value, quality, and cost savings as a result of project and program implementation and process improvement. This role involves overseeing and managing programs within TBS to ensure they are executed effectively and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to project management best practices, and aligning program outcomes with TBS strategic goals. Key responsibility areas include:
- Program Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of programs and initiatives within TBS.
- Develop and manage program plans, deliverables, timelines, and create risks and issues log.
- Ensure programs meet their objectives, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Manage according to the PDS project methodology
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead program teams and provide direction for project managers leading program workstreams.
- Foster a collaborative environment and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Partner with colleagues within TBS, Takeda, and external teams to drive initiatives in collaboration.
- Process Improvement:
- Implement and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous development and evolution of the PDS project management capabilities, methodology, and professionalization of the delivery organization and model.
- Ensure compliance with Takeda and TBS policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Create and share program updates to TBS leaders, TBS teams, and stakeholders, ensuring risks are recognized and mitigated, interdependences are actively managed, and risks/issues are escalated and resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure their involvement in key program decisions.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present program status reports to leadership and appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive program/project documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation of lessons learned and best practices.
Requirenments:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in project management, including 2+ years managing programs and 3+ years leading cross-functional teams.
- Transformation Expertise: Proven experience in leading complex transformations across domains and countries.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in project management tools, MS Office, and shared services tools (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow).
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical, impact-oriented, and capable of managing challenges creatively.
- Languages: Fluent in English.
- Preferred Skills: PMP/PRINCE2 certification, LEAN Six Sigma qualification, and Smartsheet proficiency.
- Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with Finance, Procurement, and People Solutions (HR).
- Shared Services Expertise: Understanding of shared services processes and best practices
