Job Description
Project Manager (PM) responsible for initiation, execution and delivery of mission critical communications systems and its extended portfolio aspects within the SSA/UN region.
Reporting to the System Integration Manager, the PM will be responsible for all aspects of the assigned projects ensuring full turnkey delivery of contractual scope, while maintaining schedule, budget and customer atisfaction.
Utilization of Project Management tools and techniques to include schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, action item log, etc.). Able to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for issues related to any assigned project(s).
The PM maintains full responsibility for resource allocation in order to meet project objectives, corporate financial commitments, and customer satisfaction goals.
The PM is responsible for direct communication to the customer’s organization and relevant senior stakeholders internally by conducting meetings, project reviews throughout the life of the project. In addition, the PM maintains full responsibility of the project financials, revenue commitments and margin goals.
Job responsibilities:

Lead mulit-phased project or program based activities.

Manages work activities of project team to include Order Management, Engineering, Finance and Customer Facing technical teams.

Have an understanding of technical solution being implemented and identify any gaps to be enhanced by Engineering teams

Demonstrates a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management. Experienced in running project phases and able to oversee development of the complete project plan. Is able to establish, track, and audit project budgets, analyze variances and develop action plans as required.

Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role.

A project manager is accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget. Ensures that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managed.

Involved in the recruitment and management of project staff including project reporting, administration and communication.
Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of project/ program management experience or 5+ years of engineering experience
-
Fluency in English
Additional skills:
-
Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction or IT Networks
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint & Primavera P6)
