Job Summary:
Business Analysts may be assigned to work on corporate projects with or without a project manager through the Bank’s Project Management Office. A Business Analyst II assists/leads the project with facilitating requirements, documenting business processes, and recommending solutions to complete projects efficiently, on time and budget. Business Analyst II is also expected to mentor and train other employees in the department.

- Elicits and documents existing processes
- Performs the requirements management process
- Facilitates meetings between the business stakeholders, IT and project managers to elicit business requirements
- Documents and verifies all the requested business requirements
- Validates the business requirements with the technical owners of the application to meet the business needs
- Documents the questions included in the Request for Proposals working with all the stakeholders involved
- Organizes the responses from the vendors on the Request for Proposals
- Assists with analyzing the Request for Proposals vendor responses
- Actively assist with IBC project support functions
- Assists in the PMO Testing Process: facilitation of the development of the test plans and procedures using the validated requirements, define test conditions, facilitate user acceptance testing, facilitating the documentation of the test results and any retest information
- Provide feedback for the continuous process improvement of the IBC Project Methodology
- Recommend solutions for improvement of an existing process
- Adhere to IBC Project Management project standards and methodology
- Assists business departments with small initiatives not meeting our project management criteria
- Generate weekly business analysts status reports for each of their assignments
- Performs data analysis as requested
- Prepares executive summaries and reports as needed
- Facilitate or provide any information needed for the business to update their process and procedures based on the project initiatives
- Provide mentoring, coaching and direction to team members
- Manage a project (low complexity) through life cycles or phases following the IBC Project management Methodology.

EDUCATION
- CBAP Certified (IIBA Recognized) or 5-7 years of work related experience
- Prior business analysis experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, and Project
- Experience and strengths in accounting, business modeling, analysis and business plan development
- Knowledge of Information Technology principles and concepts
- Knowledge of International Institute of Business Analysis techniques and tasks
- Knowledge of banking principles and concepts preferred
- Knowledge of PMI Project Management principles and concepts preferred
