This position is in the Human Exploration and Space Flight (HESF) Division and will support the Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities (COSMIC). COSMIC is a NASA sponsored national consortium managed by the Aerospace Corporation with the mission of making in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing (ISAM) a routine part of space architectures and missions. We are looking for a COSMIC Project Coordinator (Project Management Specialist II) to support the day-to-day operations of the consortium as managed by the Aerospace Corporation and assist with the needs of consortium members.
Work Model
This is a full-time position offering a hybrid work model that combines 3-4 regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow. This work location could be one of the following: El Segundo, CA, Albuquerque, NM, Colorado Springs, CO, Chantilly, VA, Crystal City, VA, or Houston, TX.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for supporting the operations of the consortium in collaboration with consortium leadership and the communications team
- Management of COSMIC's collaboration site including developing processes for onboarding users, managing user account access, providing responsive support to users, and content development and management
- Integration and management of working group agendas and presentations; communications to presenters
- Management of hybrid environments including ZoomGov Events, Teams, and associated A/V to accommodate requirements
- Logistical planning and execution of general membership meetings including venue research, purchasing, and communication with member attendees
- Working hand in hand with communications lead and working group leads to create content for consumption by the public and consortium members
What You Need to be Successful - Project Management Specialist II
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a related discipline
- 3 or more years of integration and logistical planning, coordination, and execution responsibility for a collaborative organization
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Tool Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Independent and self-motivated; proactive ability to learn on the job
- Willing to travel not to exceed 10%
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
