Product Specialist - Korea

Blue Bottle Coffee Korea is looking for a strategic and motivated Product Specialist to join our local team. As Product Specialist you will be responsible for our local product strategy and own all product initiatives from planning through execution. You will work collaboratively with local and global leadership to help build a best-in-class Blue Bottle Coffee experience in Korea across all channels.

This position will be based in Seoul, Korea, and report to the Korea Product Manager.

You will:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional global/local team to execute product strategies and roadmaps for our core product categories: coffee & beverages, food (culinary), CPG, and merchandise
• Analyze category data and product performance regularly, providing visibility to key stakeholders
• Conduct competitive analysis regularly to evaluate current and future trends
• Identify consumer needs and research trends that can inform our local new product development process
• Integrate and align global product strategy into local product management to ultimately deliver on assortment and line plans that ultimately deliver on company business and marketing objectives
• Collaborate with manager and cross-functional teams for the demand planning for new products
• Develop a feedback loop to ensure continuous improvement
• Work closely with various vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time and on budget
• Manage product launch schedules—with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all stages of product creation, launch and forecasts are reliably met

You are:

• A strategic and creative thinker with strong business acumen, ideally with experience in corporate brand or product management
• Up to date on the latest trends in different product categories and consumer experiences
• Knowledgeable about product regulations (eg, imports, label requirements, etc.)
• Analytical and data-driven, with experience in leveraging insights for decision-making
• Experienced in managing branded products within structured organisations (e.g. FMCG, F&B, retail, or related industries)
• Goal oriented; able to drive results and manage complexities
• A leader and great team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization, as well as external stakeholders
• Able to thrive in a fast paced environment

You have:

• 3+ years of experience in brand management, product management, or category management within a mid-to-large scale organisation
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• In-depth experience in category management and bench-marking with strong analytical skills
• Proven experience in market analysis, category benchmarking, and product lifecycle management
• Fluency in both English and Korean
• A deep love and respect of delicious coffee and passion for the F&B industry, with professional experience in branded products
