Position Overview 

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for executing marketing plans for Thrive’s products and services to our prospects, customers, and partners. Thrive’s Next Gen managed services include private and public Cloud, Cyber Security, Disaster Recovery, Global Network Management, Microsoft Collaboration, and Professional Services. As a critical Marketing team member, you will work directly with internal stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing services. The individual must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Create marketing content and technical writing (sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) that articulates the benefits of our products and business outcomes under brand guidelines 

  • Responsible for website product content 

  • Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators 

  • Enter and complete industry/product awards 

  • Assist in creating visual assets that complement written content, such as diagrams, infographics, and illustrations 

  • Assist with Client Portal content and roadmap 

  • Contribute to the development and update of targeted customer profiles & verticals 

  • Create sales collateral and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle 

  • Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team to facilitate our consultive selling process 

  • Develop sales enablement tools, presentations, and webinar abstracts 

  • Develop talk tracks specific to PowerPoint presentations 

  • Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products, which involve several different departments 

  • Continuously assesses the market and identifies strengths, gaps, and areas for products and services 

  • Analyze sales data, channel information, and create plans to improve product line sales using marketing and sales techniques 

  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas 

  • Assist with Gartner informed positioning and messaging related to our core offerings 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology, marketing, or related discipline 

  • Excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal product stakeholders 

  • Strong understanding of technology, including software, hardware, or related products – specifically Cybersecurity and Cloud platforms 

  • Strong understanding of how products and services are sold through hybrid sales model. 

  • Fundamental knowledge of managed services concepts and practices 

  • 7+ years of product marketing, product management, or digital marketing experience, preferably in a related industry 

  • Strong ability to execute. Effective at partnering with team members and reaching out in real time to overcome roadblocks 

  • Prior experience with MSP/MSSP is preferred
