We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team, furthering our mission of making insurance more lovable by improving the engagement approach between policyholders and their insurance carriers with our AI-enabled, conversational platform. Reporting to the lead of Product Marketing, this individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive awareness, adoption, and retention of our products. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of marketing expertise and technical acumen with a deep understanding of B2B SaaS and/or P&C insurance landscapes. We thrive on teamwork and shared enthusiasm, which is why this role involves joining us in the office for two days each week. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Understand customer needs through interaction with internal Subject Matter Experts, market and competitive analysis, research, interviews, and product usage data. You’ll use this understanding to impact strategy, influence product roadmap priorities and develop compelling sales collateral.
  • Follow and analyze market trends to develop positioning and messaging that speaks to our prospects and customers.
  • Be the expert on our buyer and the buying group as well as the organizational and market dynamics that exist.
  • Work closely with Growth, Customer, Operations and Product teams to develop key messaging and value proposition for new products and features.
  • Work alongside Product, Solutions Consulting and Customer Care teams to develop enablement assets that will communicate the value of our offering internally and externally.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure that release highlights, maintenance windows and customer notifications are sent in an accurate and timely manner to the Hi Marley customer base.
  • Work with other members of the Marketing team to craft compelling messaging and create marketing campaigns that align with the buying process.
  • Support product launches/releases by orchestrating the different functional teams to ensure release readiness is complete and that the product is delivered on schedule. 

What We’re Looking For:  

  • Ability to laugh at your mistakes, recognize when a team member might need a word or two of encouragement and appreciate that while we might aim for perfection; it’s often the enemy of “Getting $%!^ Done”. 
  • 1-3 years of product marketing or relevant experience preferred 
  • Proven track record working with an enterprise sales model (large deals, long sales cycles and large buying group).
  • Natural collaborator who excels at managing via influence and enjoys working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Adaptable team player who demonstrates a willingness to step outside traditional role boundaries, assisting with cross-functional marketing initiatives and organizational needs as they arise with a can-do attitude. 
  • Ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects without a step-by-step playbook with the ability to manage key stakeholders while working towards defined business goals.
  • Customer obsessed and consistently brings the customer point of view and quantitative insights into product and go-to-market strategy discussions.
  • Gifted writer, storyteller and communicator that can easily convey complex topics and concepts to a range of audiences (business user, executive, practitioner) in multiple form factors (presentations, copywriting, thought leadership, webinars).
