At Monument, we’re building a vertical software platform for the self-storage industry. This is a rare opportunity to reinvent a $30 billion market from the ground up.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development of our product from scratch. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Design leadership to define product features and requirements and lead a team of engineers to bring them to life.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery on new features, thoroughly analyzing customers Jobs to be Done, competitive platforms, and customer/stakeholder feedback.
- Write detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for new projects, detailing all business, functional, engineering, and design requirements; validate with customers that these requirements full-meet their needs.
- Break down requirements into well-defined Epics and Stories ready to be picked up by engineers.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure that quality features are delivered on-time.
- Hold your team accountable to all commitments and standards.
- Become a subject-matter expert in our product, industry and customers.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Management or similar role at a software company.
- Experience leading Agile ceremonies and processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming and standups.
- Experience with B2B and/or B2C.
- You are skilled in turning Product and Design requirements into well-defined Jira epics and stories.
- You are goal oriented and set high standards for yourself and others.
- You set yourself apart with your thoroughness and attention to detail.
- You are passionate about building something from scratch.
