Job Description

What if your next product leadership role helped unlock the full creative potential of one of the most beloved brands on Earth?

As Product Leader Director - Data & Platform Products you will lead the team building the digital data platforms and tools that empower LEGO creativity at scale!

Core Responsibilities

In this Billund-based role, you’ll guide the vision and strategy behind the platforms and data products that fuel how we design, model, and imagine LEGO creations. Your leadership will shape the internal tools used by our teams and partners worldwide — making it easier, faster, and more inspiring to bring ideas to life, brick by brick. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Drive strategic product vision for Data Platform and Creative Tools, collaborating with leadership for scalable, data-driven development.

  • Lead and develop a team of 3 Product Managers to enhance their performance and confidence in agile environments.

  • Build product management capabilities by promoting standard processes, fostering a learning community, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Champion cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, business partners, and senior leadership to align priorities and advocate for user-centered decisions.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, helping teams validate solutions through research, data, and iteration, especially for internal tools.

  • Support teams in developing strategies based on customer insights and feedback loops to improve delivery and adoption, while enhancing visibility of product impact across the LEGO Group.

Play your part in our team succeeding

At the LEGO Group, we want data to power everything from how we design and build models to how we enable creativity and innovation at scale.

Your team’s work is foundational: you're enabling internal colleagues and external partners to create LEGO models, generate Building Instructions, and make smarter decisions with intuitive, reliable data tools. These are not just internal systems, they’re creative enablers. You'll oversee two core data platform products, and one advanced internal tool used to drive how LEGO content is created, structured, and consumed.

As Product Leader, your mission is to guide the vision, strategy, and impact of these tools. You’ll partner with engineering, design, UX research, business partners and leaders to ensure we’re solving the right problems in the right way - turning complex needs into elegant, scalable solutions. This role is about more than leading product delivery; it’s about amplifying the creative and data capabilities of hundreds of LEGO creators worldwide.

If you're excited by the idea of enabling brilliant minds to build magical experiences—and doing it through modern, data-driven, well-designed internal tools, this is your chance to leave a lasting impact. You'll help us build platforms that empower, streamline, and inspire the next generation of LEGO magic.

Please note: The position is based in Billund. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in digital product leadership and strategy, particularly with internal platforms and data tools.

  • Strong background in Agile Product management, with hands-on experience in product discovery and continuous delivery.

  • Experience leading Product Managers and cross-functional teams, effectively turning complex needs into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and partner management skills, able to align across different leadership levels and navigate competing priorities.

  • Deep understanding of data platforms and internal tooling, with a user-centered approach to advocate for intuitive user experiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to foster team growth and psychological safety, coaching Product Managers to build confidence and resilience while thriving in ambiguity.

Preferred attributes

  • Experience in developing data platforms, developer tools, or internal content creation systems in large organizations, along with a background in Computer Graphics, 3D modeling, or digital content pipelines within creative fields.

  • Proven ability to inspire and influence without authority, successfully navigating complex environments and aligning diverse partners around a common product vision.

Build your career brick by brick at the LEGO Group.

“Being a Product Leader here means empowering teams to build the invisible tools that unlock visible magic. It’s about turning complex data and systems into intuitive experiences that enable creativity at every step—from first brick to final model.”
