Job Function
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer will be based in King of Prussia, PA, and will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes are safe, standardized, and documented. The role includes maintaining adequate controls to ensure product quality, stimulating innovative thinking, and implementing process improvements that enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. The candidate should be committed to achieving world-class knowledge of manufacturing engineering and best practices and leading efforts to elevate process and lean manufacturing knowledge within the factory.
Responsibilities

Manage assigned tasks and responsibilities

Provide technical support to manufacturing

Problem-solving, collecting, and analyzing information

Work cross-functionally in the development of processes and procedures

Train Process Technicians and others

Analyze procedures/processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Troubleshoot equipment and processes

Handle raw material changes
-
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Manager
Required Experience
-
B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial/Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or other related concentrations

2 years of relevant professional experience
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence others positively
-
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs
-
Understanding and exposure to statistical, process, and lean manufacturing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, 5S, and similar
-
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications
Preferred Experience

SAP experience preferred

Minitab experience
-
Experience in manufacturing with exposure to the following is a plus: material handling, web handling, mixing, coating, batch processing, ball milling, tape casting, converting processes such as slitting and blanking, automation and controls

Experience with process troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
