The Role 

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for building a robust developer experience and community around Genesys Cloud. This role will focus on building out the tools and enablement to make customer and partner developers successful when working with the Genesys Cloud platform to achieve their business goals. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the developer persona is represented throughout our entire portfolio of products from ideation to delivery. 

Your mission will be to utilize data and telemetry to understand the key areas of investment to grow our developer ecosystem and expand the number of customers utilizing the Genesys platform to build unique CX solutions across their entire enterprises to service their customers.

The Opportunity 

As the Principal Product Manager, you will have the autonomy and accountability to define and lead the strategy for expanding our developer ecosystem. This includes building out our developer experience portal, developer tools, telemetry and enablement programs that are needed to expand and delight our developer community. You will also serve as product SME for our customers, partners, and field teams as it pertains to how their developers can leverage the Genesys Cloud platform to meet their objectives.

What You Will Do 

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, field solutions consultants/ architects, and other product teams to develop and drive the product strategy

  • Translate the developer product strategy into a defined product and program roadmap; working closely with development teams from ideation to overseeing delivery of EPIC’s to achieve our objectives

  • Identify additional business opportunities and monetization strategies around the developer ecosystem.

  • Drive partnerships and interoperability with leading technology platforms and developer community’s to create frictionless integrations and enhance our platform extensibility. 

  • Define operational business metrics and create automated reporting to track the adoptions, usage, NPS, and revenue of the developer platform to make data driven decisions on additional functionality. 

  • Interface with our customers, vendors, and partners to communicate and advocate the value of the Genesys platform to developers.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Solutions Consulting to develop content strategies and pipelines to provide our developer community with continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For 

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with expertise in API’s, SDK’s, integrations, development lifecycle, and the needs of developers.

  • Extensive experience working with restful APIs and SDKs to build custom software solutions.

  • Strong understanding of the content and tools needed by developers to create custom solutions on top of a SaaS platform.

  • Strategic thinker who can balance the need for short-term delivery with long-term platform innovation

  • Ability to lead cross functional departmental teams in the development of readiness practices and processes; effective in implementing new and improved processes

  • Excellent organizational and management skills as well as influential skills

  • Passion for customer experience and driving the unification of customer data to unlock actionable insights. 

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$158,800.00 - $295,000.00
