BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Principal I, Billing Solutions, you'll be responsible for advanced technical, operational and design management which will encompass process, tool, automation and integration initiatives to drive efficiencies across our product catalog and billing platforms for our Billing team. You will act as a liaison between the business stakeholders and our Billing Process Effectiveness team and/or vendors to provide technical solutions to meet business needs and company objectives.

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Brings expert knowledge and understanding of billing systems, product catalogs, internal business processes to deliver improvement initiatives for our organization.
  • Oversees work queues and ensures the stability of the production systems by directing or influencing the work of project teams. Reacts and resolves issues in a timely manner ensuring production stability and proactively avoid service impacts for the customer.
  • Leads collaborations with other departments on all aspects of related projects to create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through understanding the problem(s), communicating promptly on progress, and collaborating with stakeholders effectively.
  • Leads analysis activities and drives tool, automation, integration and process improvement initiatives for the Billing team.


On a typical day you'll analyze or direct analysis of complex data and business processes for implementations and problem solving to ensure alignment between business operational strategies and technical solutions. You'll present recommended approaches to business stakeholders to gain agreement on technology solutions. If you work independently and are comfortable presenting to various audiences including leadership, this role may be for you.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of Telecom experience; 8+ years Billing system (CSG/AMDOCS preferred) experience; 8+ years billing platform applications experience; 5+ years as a previous lead or subject matter expert on billing systems
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills: Expert knowledge of billing systems and platforms (CSG/AMDOCS preferred); Advanced knowledge of broad IT operations and systems interconnectivity; Proficient in Microsoft desktop products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Project; strong knowledge of database technologies, SQL, REST Api, Cloud computing and familiarity with AI/ML technologies; data mapping, business process mapping, UI/UX design
  • Abilities: Facilitate cross-functional communications among multiple teams; Effective at prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment; Highly self-motivated and self-directed; Define roadmap and vision
