What your impact will be:
- Benefits Administration:
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and other offerings.
- Enroll new employees in benefit plans and process qualifying life event changes.
- End-to-end management of the annual open enrollment cycle and communicate plan changes effectively.
- Leave of Absence Management:

- Administer leave of absence processes, including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA
- Interpret FMLA and ADA implications and partner with People Partners to support employees during leave of absence.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
- Prepare and file required reports, including Form 5500 and ACA filings.
- Update and maintain benefit policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
- Employee Support & Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees’ benefits-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide education and resources to help employees understand and maximize their benefits.
- Address and resolve employee concerns and escalate complex issues to management or vendors when necessary.
- Vendor Management:
- Partner with benefits providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Evaluate vendors and assist in negotiating contracts and renewals.
- Data Management and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate benefits records and employee data in HRIS systems.
- Analyze benefits usage trends to recommend program improvements or cost-saving opportunities.
- Program Development:
- Support the design and implementation of new benefits offerings to enhance employee satisfaction and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with HR leadership on wellness initiatives and incentives.
What you will bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR function.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state benefit regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration platforms (Workday preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
