About the team and role
Employee Experience Team, GBG Americas
Our Employee Experience Team is central to the success of the business. We want to be known for having 'the best and most engaged’ people in the industry. The Employee Experience Team is responsible for everything that drives just that; our employer brand, culture, internal communications, our HR infrastructure, plus our physical spaces. We're on an exciting journey, and we have the strategies in place to get us to our destination.
The Role
The Associate People Team Business Partner, based in Atlanta, GA, and reporting to the Employee Experience Director, is pivotal in supporting our strategic HR initiatives across the Americas. This role is key in fostering strong relationships with employees and management, supporting talent development, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
What you will do
- Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers and employees, particularly in areas of performance management and employee relations.
- Partner on strategic projects including system integrations, engagement programs, and D&I initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders and global HRBPs to align HR practices with business goals.
- Support learning and development efforts through training coordination and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Drive internal communications and foster a culture aligned with GBG’s values.
- Proven HR or people operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project coordination, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of confidentiality, initiative, and adaptability.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and suggesting process improvements.
