The Position
We are looking for talented post-graduates with a strong interest in Operations for our rotational development program within Pharma Technical Operations (PT) at Roche in Basel and Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.
Over the course of 24 months, you will work in a cross-functional setup, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to different key PT projects at Roche. The development rotations are designed to provide challenging and meaningful business related assignments, training in technical and leadership skills, and coaching under business managers and mentors. You will gain on-the-job experience and a broad perspective on the core PT functions that are critical to the manufacturing of Roche/Genentech products. ORDP offers you the opportunity to rotate in any of the functional business areas of PT including: Internal Manufacturing Network, Quality and Compliance, Cell & Gene Therapy, Technical Development, Operational Excellence & Digital,Technical Regulatory, Product and Supply Chain Management, MSAT & Engineering, Strategy, as well as functions supporting PT, e.g. Global Pharma Procurement.
The opportunity:

Four six-month rotations within Pharma Technical Operations

Formal targeted internal and external trainings, meetings and offsite events

Presentation opportunities and exposure, conference visits and participation, mentoring program and reverse mentoring to the Pharma Technical Leadership Team
Your key responsibilities and tasks:

Accountable for the end to end project deliverables associated with the rotation assignment under the supervision of the rotation manager

Regular reviews with the rotation manager and the program manager on the project/assignment status
-
Regular feedback and career/development updates with the program manager to ensure growth and development
-
Attend functions/meetings/offsite (both global and local) for rotation as agreed to by the rotation manager

End of project/assignment presentation to business leaders of work completed in rotations
Who you are:
You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. You are someone who likes to move around in a network and provide it with new impulses. Furthermore, you’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies. Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point.
You are a student or recently graduated (less than two years ago) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in one of the following disciplines: Biochemical, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Operations or related disciplines.
You bring Operations-related internships or maximum 2 years of work experience.
In addition you bring the following skills and competencies:
