Quality Control (QC) Digital Backbone is a new section within the Quality Control Basel Kaiseraugst organization comprising approximately 30 employees, organized in 2 teams and subject matter experts.
The Opportunity:
The Unit Lead Master Data Management will lead a team of approx. 8 employee and organizes and oversees the local Master Data Management for the digital systems in the Quality Control Department Basel / Kaiseraugst (e.g. SingleLIMS, ASPIRE, Speca) which is crucial to ensure compliance of our products.
As a leader, you will encourage your employees in their further development. You are an active member of the QC Digital Backbone Leadership Team and thus directly influence the development of the local and global analytical organization.
Your other main tasks and responsibilities

Lead a team of subject matter experts to achieve strategic and operational goals, as well as organizational development, talent and performance management.

Creating a work environment characterized by team spirit, effective communication, motivation and inspiration, and actively promoting self-organization.

Responsible for the Master Data Management for the QC digital systems (e.g. SingleLIMS, ASPIRE, Speca).

Ensuring operational support of these systems for the QC department incl. Incident handling, documentation and reporting

Ensuring economical use of technical equipment and materials

Ensuring a good flow of information within and outside your own organizational area.

Strong alignment and good communication with local as well as global partners.

Represent QC Master Data Management in audits and inspections; Ensure procedures and documentation are regulatory compliant and inspection ready.

Following your studies in life-sciences or IT, you have gained professional experience (3+ years) in the pharmaceutical industry.

You have already first experience in managing staff and leading an organization

You have expertise in cGMP, as well as profound knowledge of local and international GMP regulations incl. compliant GxP Computerized Systems

You take on challenging tasks independently, have the analytical ability to evaluate complex issues and make decisions.

You have a professional and results-oriented work style and are focused on continuous improvement.

As an integrative personality with strong communication skills, you are able to build trusting and effective relationships with a wide range of partners at the Kaiseraugst site and in the global Roche network.
