OneMain is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented leader to drive recovery efforts through Debt Sales planning and execution. This role will collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across multiple organizations to develop quarterly sales plans and directly manage the team responsible for executing Debt Sales strategy. The ideal candidate will be adept at cross-functional process flows and experienced with managing third party business partners.
In the Role
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership from Operations, Strategy Analytics, and Finance to architect and deliver quarterly Debt Sale plans, ensuring alignment and attainment of recovery targets
- Directly manage the Debt Sale execution team members, support their efforts through direct and consistent coaching and feedback
- Lead cross-functional business partners to ensure process alignment and meet key deliverables. Develop, socialize, and maintain an all-inclusive monthly schedule of events leading up to the execution of each sale
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple departments and products to appropriately schedule debt sales to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Work with data analysts to review sale pool data and ensure appropriate scoping
- Quickly gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of OneMain products participating in the Debt Sales program
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with third-party buyers, providing comprehensive pre-sale and post-sale support to ensure seamless transactions and sustained collaboration
- Conduct initial reviews and redlines of all debt sales contracts to ensure operational requirements are met before final legal review
- Partner with Leadership team and key stakeholders to identify and remediate process gaps and opportunities to enhance or streamline workflow
- Analyze reports, review files, and work actions to identify system opportunities and enhancements; implement corrective actions to achieve goals and minimize exposures
- Understand departmental volumes and performance data; develop and maintain staffing forecasts/requirements and prepare reports and performance metrics for leadership as required
- Maintain an efficient quality monitoring program, in partnership with quality and control teams
Requirements
- High School or GED.
- 3 to 6 years of experience managing production or support teams
- Experience with contract management and legal document review
- Experience managing third party business partners and relationships
- Ability to analyze data and translate insight into actionable strategies
- Empathetic, inclusive, and motivating leader
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees
- Internal systems experience required
