The Operational Excellence Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for managing and guiding a team to drive process improvements, optimize workflows, and deliver impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience. This position requires a proven ability to lead teams, make strategic decisions, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring accountability for task completion and the delivery of high-quality results. (10%)

Collaborate with stakeholders, decision-makers, and team members to identify inefficiencies, define business requirements, and design innovative solutions that improve operational processes. (15%)

Oversee task assignments and team prioritization, ensuring coverage and alignment with organizational goals. Provide guidance and feedback to team members to maximize productivity. (10%)

Facilitate critical decision-making processes by analyzing data, assessing risks, and providing recommendations to improve operations and align with business strategies. (10%)

Establish and maintain regular communication with stakeholders to review project updates, assess priorities, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Own the communication strategy and end-user engagement plan. (20%)

Conduct performance management activities, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and professional development. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team. (10%)

Evaluate team and individual contributions based on measurable outcomes, driving accountability and results. (10%)

Act as a key escalation point for resolving operational challenges and removing roadblocks to ensure smooth execution of initiatives. Lead feedback and improvement sessions with the team and stakeholders. (15%)
Education and ExperienceEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required
Experience:

3–5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles.

A minimum of 2 years of proven experience leading teams and managing group dynamics is required.

Strong track record of making strategic decisions in high-stakes environments and successfully engaging with senior stakeholders.
Skills:

Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.

Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Automate) and familiarity with SQL or ETL tools is preferred.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
