Job Role: Network Architect
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 7-12 Months with possible extension.
Responsibilities
·Document comprehensive network designs that integratemultiple network technologies, such as LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and VPNs,to support the organizations business operations and communication needs.
·Design and document the entire network implementationprocess
·Monitoring network performance and taking follow-up steps to resolve latency issues and security concerns
·Performing regular network upgrades to create greater efficiency
·Creating documentation throughout the design and deployment process for future reference
·Develop patterns and standards for all network designs
·The ability to analyze data traffic and system performanceto determine future upgrades.
·Work with our IT staff and thirds-party equipment and software vendors to ensure the network needs are met.
·Research new technologies and solutions, and asses new technologies for adoption
·Define multisite network operations and software applications.
·Train, mentor, and transfer skills to the extended team.
·Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains and networking layers.
·Aligns architecture strategy with business goals.
·Defines, explains, and advocates technology strategy.
