Job Description
The Tower Team Lead is responsible for managing a team of developers working on our Traffic Control System while contributing to technical development and strategic planning.
- You will lead a team of .NET developers within the R&D department, reporting directly to the director of Offboard software.
- You will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of our Traffic Control System, ensuring high-quality deliverables while meeting project timelines.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including onboard engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- You will be responsible for technical leadership, including code reviews, architectural decisions together with the software architects and establishing development standards and best practices.
- You will mentor team members, facilitate their professional growth, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- You will actively participate in software development using C# and React, contributing to codebases while ensuring the team maintains code quality and efficiency.
- You will help translate business requirements into technical specifications and plan development sprints accordingly.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor / Master within IT or Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of:
- .NET 8
- C# (advanced level)
- Entity Framework
- ASP.NET Web API, REST, SignalR
- MQTT
- Service architectures
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Clean code principles and design patterns
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Strong team management and mentoring skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical decision-making skills
- Experience with traffic management systems or logistics automation is a plus
