About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of our MiFID-licensed derivatives entity in Europe. This role is pivotal to shaping our market positioning within Europe and across the OKX Group.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee the operational and strategic growth of the European MiFID-licensed entity, ensuring alignment with group objectives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across licensing, compliance, finance, growth, liquidity, and product to enhance offerings for institutional and retail clients in Europe.

• Maintain open and proactive communication with regulators, ensuring compliance with MFSA regulations and guidelines.

• Assume ultimate responsibility for the entity's P&L, growth targets, and market share.

• Develop institutional and whole sale strategy for EEA and build a strong sales team to deliver business results for the MiFID entity.

• Monitor and respond to regulatory changes, ensuring portfolio management practices adhere to the latest standards.

• Initiate and oversee operational initiatives including new system implementations, product rollouts, and process optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in financial services.

• Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.

• Self-driven quality and able to work under pressure with uncompromised integrity.

• Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

• Ability to work collaboratively with global members of cross-functional teams.

• Evidence of experience working within financial services with exposure to derivatives.
