This is a remote, work from home position. We are seeking a remote Media Relations Strategist Liaison (MRSL) to join our team.
The client is an established international public relations agency, based in Tampa Bay, Florida. Astute in recognizing industry changes since its launch in 2009, the team utilizes newly established patterns to create timely Anti-PR campaigns comprising traditional and the latest proven media methods.
The Media Relations Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing strategic media relations plans to enhance the agency’s clients’ public image and promote their products, services, and initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the media landscape, excellent communication skills, team leadership, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key media outlets.
Work Schedule: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM EST
Compensation: 10$ - $12$ an hour
Type of Contract: Contractor – you will be in charge of paying your taxes

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Media Strategy Development – Design and execute tailored, high-impact media relations strategies that align with client objectives.
- Client Relationship Management – Act as the main client-facing representative for high-profile accounts, particularly C-suite executives, providing strategic guidance and ensuring satisfaction.
- Internal Liaison & Communication – Translate client needs into actionable strategies for the Media Relations team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Industry Insight & Trend Monitoring – Stay informed on industry trends in technology, finance, AI, and healthcare to proactively identify media opportunities.
- Media Outreach & Pitching – Monitor news sources, pitch stories, and draft communication materials daily to maximize media coverage.
- Press & Media Engagement – Organize press conferences, media briefings, and other events to facilitate media interaction and brand visibility.
- Develop and Implement Process Improvements – Continuously evaluate media outreach workflows and procedures to streamline efficiency, enhance effectiveness, and optimize resource allocation, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the media relations team.
Requirements:
- +2 years of proven experience in PR strategy development and coordination.
- Strong track record in client-facing roles, particularly with C-suite executives.
- Comfortable with using Time Doctor (monitoring tool) to track work hours, productivity, and task completion.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to navigate complex client relationships.
- Experience in technology, finance, AI, or healthcare industries is a plus.
