Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET)

What You Will Do as a Sr. SDET:

As an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) at Luxury Presence, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will help maintain and improve our automated testing framework, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new features are robust and meet our high-quality standards.

You will be a key player in the software development lifecycle, driving quality across all aspects of our product. From building out and maintaining automated tests to managing and improving our CI/CD pipeline, your contributions will directly impact the success of our platform and its users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality code and seamless user experiences.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Support and maintain our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that automated tests are seamlessly integrated into the development process.
• Work closely with engineers to understand new features and ensure they are thoroughly tested before deployment.
• Identify areas of improvement in our testing and development workflows and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand testing requirements and deliver solutions that align with project goals.
• Monitor and manage bugs and issues discovered through automated tests and ensure they are promptly addressed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies to improve testing efficiency.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar QA automation role.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or others.
• Experience building test automation repositories from the scratch,
• Experience addressing QA hard problems (reliability, parallelization, scaling and reporting),
• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab, or CircleCI.
• Solid programming experience in JavaScript, Typescript, or similar languages.
• Strong experience with React, GraphQL, and Apollo for web and mobile applications.
• Expertise in writing and running automated tests across different layers of applications (unit tests, integration tests, E2E tests).
• Familiarity with testing multiple platforms such as web and mobile (iOS and Android) applications.
• Knowledge of API testing (REST and GraphQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience utilizing AI Tools to accelerate quality assurance impact in a production product.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
• Experience with cloud-native testing tools and methodologies (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Experience with React Native for mobile testing with exposure to testing mobile apps, especially using Maestro or similar tools.
