Purpose:
STANLEY Engineered Fastening, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, is seeking a motivated and skilled Marketing Specialist to support our commercial function alignment efforts, focusing on driving brand and product awareness and filling the sales pipeline with qualified leads and opportunities.
This role will contribute to our business growth initiatives in the industrial and automotive industries by executing new business development prospecting activities, lead generation marketing strategies and on-site events across Europe.
The ideal candidate will be able to closely collaborate with marketing, sales, product management, and other commercial and product specialist departments across the organization to execute robust growth marketing activities.
Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, this is a highly visible role within the organization that will provide great exposure to leadership and cross-departments to give you the opportunity to grow your career with Stanley Black & Decker. You will have the opportunity to define and drive a new function within the Commercial team, using best-in-class digital platforms to help you achieve success.
The Job (responsibilities):
Marketing Campaign Planning & Reporting
- Leverage internal and external insight to develop strategic Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to drive awareness and develop prospects
- Work with the internal studio team to develop disruptive, high-performing content to build new relationships with potential customers
- Coordinate with leadership to identify and report on key performance indicators for each campaign – analyzing and translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations to adapt marketing strategies in real time
- Identify ongoing areas of improvement and opportunity within each stage of the customer journey, from awareness to conversion to advocacy
Manage Trade Shows, Conferences and Events
- Identify relevant industry events for consideration to attend, speak and/or exhibit at, in alignment with top account and business priorities
- Collaborate with marketing, product management and sales to develop and manage exceptional programs that generate awareness, interest and consideration
- Coordinate venue selection, contracts, and negotiations. Manage logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and on-site facilities
Lead Generation / Market Intelligence
- Serve as the connector between Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring qualified leads are handed off to the Sales team, adjusting marketing programs based on Sales and Marketing feedback loop, and maintaining consistent communication
- Analyze intent signals from target companies and conduct market research for target accounts to develop a qualified list of prospects
- Interact with customers to build relationships through various channels
- Maintain accurate account information and record commercial activity, lead interactions and provide insightful reports for leadership
The Person (requirements):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in a Marketing role, preferably in the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, build relationships and gain commitment at all organizational levels, internally & externally.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools like Salesforce & Pardot; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Demandbase experience is a plus.
- Time Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal oversight.
- B2B Marketing Performance: Proven experience orchestrating omni-channel marketing strategies to engage and influence highly targeted audience segments in the B2B space.
- Resilience: Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to handle customer objections and stay motivated.
- Work Environment: Hybrid; Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to attend regional tradeshows and customer meetings as needed. 3 days from the office. 2 days from home
- Language skills: Fluent in Polish and English. Any of the following languages would be considered an added value: Italian, Spanish, German or French.
