The Job:

As a Marketing Specialist you will be part of the Auto team working as a hybrid employee out of Troy, Michigan. You will contribute to our business growth initiatives in the industrial and automotive industries by executing new business development prospecting activities, lead generation marketing strategies and on-site events across North America. You will also get to:

  • Leverage internal and external insight to develop strategic Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns to drive awareness and develop prospects
  • Work with the internal studio team to develop disruptive, high-performing content to build new relationships with potential customers
  • Coordinate with leadership to identify and report on key performance indicators for each campaign – analyzing and translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations to adapt marketing strategies in real time.
  • Identify ongoing areas of improvement and opportunity within each stage of the customer journey, from awareness to conversion to advocacy.
  • Serve as the connector between Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring qualified leads are handed off to the Sales team, adjusting marketing programs based on Sales and Marketing feedback loop, and maintaining consistent communication.
  • Analyze intent signals from target companies and conduct market research for target accounts to develop a qualified list of prospects.
  • Reach out to potential customers to start the sales process and build relationships through phone calls, email and social outreach.
  • Maintain accurate account information and record all sales activity, lead interactions and follow-up tasks in CRM software and provide insightful reports for leadership
  • Identify relevant industry events for consideration to attend, speak and/or exhibit at, in alignment with top account and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management and sales to develop and manage exceptional programs that generate awareness, interest and consideration.
  • Coordinate venue selection, contracts, and negotiations. Manage logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and on-site facilities.

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a professional Sales and/or Marketing role, preferably in the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools like Salesforce & Pardot; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Demandbase experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience orchestrating omni-channel marketing strategies to engage and influence highly targeted audience segments in the B2B space.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to attend regional tradeshows and customer meetings as needed.
