The Marketing Manager - Growth Initiatives (Med-Tech) will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive market expansion and increase revenue. This role involves conducting market research, assessing market opportunities and collaborating with product development and other cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include utilizing data analytics for decision-making and identifying strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, preferably in the med-tech or healthcare industry, and possess strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.

The candidate will work on a day-to-day basis with cross-functional teams and local markets to ensure that the growth initiatives are on track. The candidate will play an instrumental role for LATAM portfolio expansion and partnerships with B2B together with Global Marketing teams, CGM’s and Global Marketing Leader.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Planning: The embecta LATAM Marketing Manager – Growth will be responsible for the develop and execution of growth strategies to drive market expansion and increase revenue in the short- and long-range planning.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify growth opportunities and customer needs in the med-tech sector. Utilize data analytics to measure the performance of existing and future pipeline products making data-driven decisions. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and marketing initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  • Product & Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development teams to align marketing strategies with product launches and improvements. Collaborate with Global an International Marketing teams, sales, R&D, and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective growth strategies.
  • Performance Metrics:  Set and monitor KPIs to measure the success of growth initiatives and continuously optimize strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with industry marketing teams, stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and other relevant entities to drive growth.
  • Eligible to travel up to 20%

Basic Requirements:

  • BS degree required.
  •  5+ years’ project management experience with demonstrated success preferably on product pre- launch activities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experienced in change management and professional adversity.
  • Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on growth initiatives, preferably in the med-tech or healthcare industry
  • Ability to work with all levels in organization including executives/leadership level.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and across multiple functions, to ensure individual’s accountability and responsibility.
  • Results-oriented, with demonstrated ability to multi-task; capable of managing and driving the completion of specific project goals and objectives.
  • Ability to influence without authority and use negotiation skills to create a win-win strategy.
  • Proactive in surfacing risks/issues and engages project team and stakeholder community to resolve issues and define risk mitigations as well as develop resolution options for escalation to project sponsors and management.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Hungry mindset and learning agility.
  •  Consulting experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device or life science industry is a plus.
  • MBA, medical or scientific graduate degree preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical, medical device Marketing experience preferred.
  • Good level of business acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Proven strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Cross-functional leadership.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and growth.
