Ameresco has a current opening for Marketing Associate with their Implementation group.

Applied Energy Group (AEG) is seeking an Implementation Marketing Associate to join the Program Implementation team. In this role, you will serve as the strategic marketing lead for energy efficiency programs across gas and electric utility clients. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating strategic and tactical marketing efforts for our utility clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to raise awareness of energy efficiency programs
  • Create and manage content for various channels, including social media, email newsletters, websites, and printed materials
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to produce high quality marketing materials
  • Coordinate marketing activities across client and AEG program management team
  • Lead client facing communication and coordination of marketing efforts
  • Identify program level initiatives to drive to goals
  • Monitor program marketing budgets
  • Analyze data from marketing campaigns and program activities to assess their effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Support outreach efforts through coordination and participation in events as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovative offerings
  • Attend industry events to drive thought leadership and best practices
  • Other duties as need to support client goals
  • Some travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS in Business or a related field is preferred. 
  • 3+ years of industry experience 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience providing marketing support for complex projects ideally in DSM Programming / Energy Efficiency. 
  • Strong customer service experience. 
  • DSM program marketing
  • Ability to provide direction of project teams to successfully execute project tasks, control scope, budget and schedule. 
  • Experience projecting and tracking budgets, developing status reporting, managing issues to resolution, and forecasting impacts on critical and non-critical paths is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 
  • Ability to develop strong subject matter expertise to recommend and implement cost effective solutions. 
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information. 
  • Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Office Suite, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience managing external vendors/parties is preferred.
  • Much of the matrixed delivery will involve direct or indirect delivery of technology components, therefore experience in technology project management is a plus.
