Job Summary

The Manager will be responsible for supporting company objectives to drive market share and revenue growth for the Small Business segment at Comcast Business. Serves as a subject matter expert and develops go-to-market and enablement initiatives to drive customer retention and loyalty. Tracks customer and market trends, reviews performance, recommends and executes marketing strategies and tactics to support business goals. This position will be an integral link between division, HQ, regional marketing and sales. Additionally, this position is part of a collaborative, creative and results-driven Marketing team and reports to the Director, Small Business Marketing & GTM.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, manage and measures effectiveness of marketing strategies to drive retention and build customer loyalty.
  • Gather and maintain customer and demographic data to inform marketing initiatives and tactics.
  • Partner with sales and product teams to create enablement and resources to build product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Coordinate reporting and ROI analysis for marketing initiatives.
  • Develop new ideas and communicate potential uses for analytics across the business.
  • Serve as the liaison between the division and the region to translate business needs into insights, knowledge and understanding of customers, products, pricing, and the competition.
  • Share insights and work cross-functionally to operationalize strategies across product, offers, and sales.  
  • Tracks and manages marketing expenses in order to ensure that they are within budget parameters.
  • Manages local promotions and event marketing; coordinates with direct sales staff.
  • Translates business needs into analysis designs providing insight, knowledge and understanding of customers, products and industries.
  • Develops and maintains demographic and other market data as needed in order to support marketing goals.
  • Gathers and communicates marketing campaign information and subscriber feedback in order to promote a common understanding of marketing campaigns, changes and issues.
  • Analyzes subscriber numbers and packages and revenue to determine performance compared to budget.
  • Develops financial models in designing packaging and pricing to ensure competitive position in market.
  • Creates reporting to measure success of marketing programs.
  • Assists with maintaining and improving ongoing marketing programs, analyses and reports.
  • Develops new ideas and communicates potential uses for analytics across the business.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
